In addition to the classic Apple logo with backlight, we learn from the patent that the technology can include a multi-color lighting system, so it can be used not only for visual pleasure, but also for something functional (for example, for notifications).

The idea of ??the Apple logo with LED backlight will not be anything new. In the end, it was available on older MacBooks. Interestingly, there are several mods and “hacks for the iPhone” that implement this interesting design change. Apple can bring this feature back to the mobile segment by removing it from its laptops.

Of course, it is worth noting that this is still a patent, and companies often register patents only to preserve concepts.
