Dell has lowered its 2019 earnings, following concerns over Intel CPUs
Intel is going through some tough times right now, and it seems like the problems have come through Intel's partners including one of their best - Dell.
Dell has reduced its 2019 earnings on Intel CPU issues, and Dell has dropped 5%. Dell COO Jeffrey Clarke explained: "Intel CPUs have increased in the quarter affecting our business and PC Q4 costs more than expected".
Even in the midst of the Intel CPU's momentum, Dell was able to increase its Q3 business growth by 5% a year to $ 11.4 billion. PC gaming business grew 9% to $ 8.3 billion, while software sales totaled $ 3.1 billion - an increase of 6%.
I do not see these issues as Intel is not just the 14nm CPU to meet demand, as it will increase to 10nm and 7nm - as its mega-winning CPU continues to move forward Ryzen on the new 7nm node. Intel will shift its focus to 10nm CPU production by 2020 until we reach 14nm production which will be slow (as it should be many years ago Intel didn't go to issues serious with 10nm - and all that is happening in Chipzilla).
